Environmental Attitudes
The environment is playing an increasingly important role in the way the county council interact with the people of Dorset, and more pressure is being put on organisations to understand and help encourage a shift in the attitudes and behaviours of Dorset residents.

In response to this demand and a need for greater understanding, CACI have produced Green ACORN; an individual level classification that features seven major groups.

The Sustainability Checklist has been developed by Team Dorset to help you consider how sustainability relates to your projects or plans. In particular it will help to quickly identify the contribution (both positive and negative) your project or activity is likely to make towards the London 2012 sustainability themes.

It will also help you to consider opportunities for improvement and develop ideas for further action or identify areas of best practice for further promotion.
