This year the Government announced its decision to close the regional Business Link service. WSX Enterprise has delivered the service in Dorset for the last 10 years. As a customer of WSX and Business Link in Dorset we would like to take this opportunity to update you about our plans after the end of the Business Link service on 25th November 2011.

WSX Enterprise is the operating arm of Southern Enterprise Alliance, a not for profit company whose aim is to foster and support business and enterprise in Dorset and the south of England. SEA is committed to investing in ongoing enterprise support in Dorset. We will continue to innovate and offer new services over time. However, we can confirm support arrangements from WSX, launching in January 2012 will include:

• Rural-net – The network for enterprising rural businesses
• Business Xchange – dynamic peer group learning for businesses delivered in venues across the conurbation and the county 
• Start up training

We are also planning to deliver an events programme focused on key business issues, and structured training in a wide variety of disciplines for both new and established businesses.
