Dorset County Museum is run by Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society which aims to preserve and conserve Dorset's history and heritage (including Archaeology, Natural Sciences, Literature, Fine and Decorative Arts, Antiquities and Local History) and to advance education for the benefit of the public in these areas.
