A based in Poole working in Community Energy

Aims

We encourage sustainable energy use throughout society, by giving impartial energy efficiency advice and referrals to grants to all house holders and the wider community. We also develop and deliver projects such as energy advisor to prisoners familys, and insulation to the private rented sector.

Resources Available

We have access to all Energy Saving Trust publications on energy efficiency and renewable energy, and develop our own leaflets according to current work. Expert speakers on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate change. DEAC staff are also in the process of becoming accredited as NEA trainers, so we can deliver the City and Guilds courses on Energy Awareness (6176-01) and the Renewable Energy in the Home (6176-02).
