Aims

 Vintage Dorset is a sustainable transition business which is striving to be resilient in the face of Peak Oil and Climate Change. The aims of the business are to:

- Provide services and products that celebrate and promote vintage and traditional ways of doing things (learning from the periods prior to cheap oil)
- Encourage a "make-do-and-mend" ethos re-using otherwise redundant artifacts and encouraging home-made, local and low-impact consumer behaviours
- Develop and encourage a market for organic and locally produced food
- Promote local leisure activities that negate or reduce the need for travel
- Work with and support other transition and vintage businesses who share our values
