This map was developed by Dorset Agenda 21, North Dorset District Council , The DT11 Forum and London based social enterprise Mapping for Change (who are developing similar maps in other parts of the UK).
To find a project you can zoom in (use the controls on the top left of the map) and click on the icon you want to know about. A box will appear with full details - some include photos. You can also search the map, and you can turn any of the sets of icons on and off by ticking the box next to the icon.
You can add your project or event to this map. To do that you need to register - click on the Add Content tab for more details. Below the log-in boxes is the invitation to Register once you complete this process you can send in your information. Content for the map is moderated so this may take two days to be added.
The map is being co-ordinated by da21 and the DT11 Forum.
To submit a request for inclusion on the map or for changes then please email: info@northdorsetgreenmap.org.uk or phone da21 on: 01305 213721
A report has been produced by the Green Alliance detailing civil society action on climate change and how it can be improved and fostered. The North Dorset Green Map is used as an example of one activity which can improve engagement and raise awareness about such activity.
