The Purbeck Keystone Project is a Heritage Lottery funded project, supporting farming, stone working and outdoor education in the Isle of Purbeck.
In October 2006, the Purbeck Keystone Project was awarded £1.4 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund to promote and celebrate the nature and culture of Purbeck's landscapes.
This is a four year project, running until August 2010. The project has clear objectives grouped under three themes: Natural Landscape, Cultural Landscape and Outdoor Learning.
The Purbeck Keystone Project is a partnership between the Purbeck Heritage Committee and other key organisations, including Purbeck District Council, Environment Agency, Dorset AONB, National Trust and Natural England.
